This guide provides an overview of the Cisco AS5200 universal access server and describes initial site preparation and installation procedures. Selected maintenance procedures, troubleshooting procedures, and cable specifications are also provided.
Basic software configuration instructions are described in the Cisco AS5200 Universal Access Software Configuration Guide that accompanied your access server. Advanced configuration instructions are described in Cisco IOS configuration guide and command reference publications, which are available on the CD-ROM that came with the access server, on the World Wide Web, or you can order printed copies separately.
You can also manage the access server from a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) network manager. Refer to the Cisco AS5200 Manager Guide publication for instructions.
