TrueView Catalyst 1600 Manager manages Catalyst 1600 devices using the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
The Catalyst 1600 supports industry-standard Management Information Bases (MIBs) as well as two MIBs that are specifically designed for use with the Catalyst 1600.
The Catalyst 1600 supports the following MIBs:
The Madge Box MIB and Madge Catalyst 1600 MIB are supplied with the Catalyst 1600 software. If you plan to use a SNMP management application to access the MIBs and have specified a password for the Catalyst 1600, before editing any variables set the SNMP community string to match the password.
