This preface describes who should read the Catalyst 6000 Family Content Switching Module Installation and Configuration Note, how it is organized, and its document conventions.
This publication does not contain the instructions to install the Catalyst 6000 family switch chassis. For information on installing the switch chassis, refer to the Catalyst 6000 Family Installation Guide.

Only trained and qualified service personnel (as defined in IEC 60950 and AS/NZS3260) should install, replace, or service the equipment described in this publication.
