The Cisco EGW 2200 uses route plans to establish control over where and when calls are routed. Route plans are made up of the routes that define the data paths used by calls. You can find more information about route plans on the Cisco EGW 2200 in the Cisco EGW Administration online help topic About Creating Routes, Route Plans, and Dial Plans.

Planning Call Routing Tables for Cisco Unity

Cisco Unity uses call routing tables to route incoming calls from subscribers and unidentified callers to the operator or to specific subscribers, call handlers, directory handlers, or interview handlers. In addition, call routing tables are used to route subscribers to the subscriber logon conversation.

Cisco Unity has two call routing table types, direct calls and forwarded calls. Each table contains predefined routing rules, and you can create additional rules to route calls as needed. You can find information on how your call routing tables should be set up in the Call Routing section of the Cisco Unity 4.0(3) System Administration Guide.
