DESCRIPTION
The
uucp
commands, including
uusched,
are targeted for removal from HP-UX;
see the
WARNINGS
below.
uusched
is the
UUCP
file transport scheduler.
It is usually started by the daemon
uudemon.hour,
which is started by
cron
(see
cron(1M))
from the following entry in
/var/spool/cron:
39 * * * * /usr/bin/su uucp -c */usr/lbin/uucp/uudemon.hour > /dev/null*
Options
uusched
recognizes two options which are provided for debugging purposes only.
- -x debug_level
Output debugging messages.
- -u debug_level
Pass as
-x
to
uucico
(see
uucico(1M)).
The
debug_level
is a number between 0 and 9.
The higher the number, the more detailed the information returned.
WARNINGS
Use of
uucp
commands, including
uusched,
is discouraged because
they are targeted for removal from HP-UX.
Use
ftp(1)
or
rcp(1)
instead.
