This appendix describes all the cables available from Cisco for use with your FastPAD. These cables are built to the following standards:
1. 93 percent minimum braid coverage.
2. Full die-cast metal back shells on the connector.
3. Full, 360 degree, shield termination to the back shell of the connector, full bonding.
4. Braid is captured in a metal thimble to prevent loss of bonding. This thimble traps the braid and provides good contact to the shell for a full 360 degree connection to the shell. No plastic grommets for braid capture are ever used.
5. Full 360 degree braid bonding.
Table C-1 lists cable designations, by table, in this appendix.
