Distribution Manager Dialog Box Reference


This appendix describes the fields on the Device Options Dialog Box used in Distribution Manager.

Refer to log messages in Chapter 7, "Reading the Log Messages."

Device Options Dialog Box

The Device Options Dialog Box is opened when you select Devices>Options.

Description

Use the Device Options Dialog Box to control error checking, the display of logging messages, and the appearance of the Distribution Manager window.

Devices

Stop if error occurred

Check this box if you want to stop writing the QoS commands to the remaining devices in the job.

This is normal mode.

Configure one device at a time

Check this box to write QoS commands to one device only in a job. Distribution Manager waits for a Resume command to write CoS commands to the next device.

Use this feature to operate in a manual mode. Click the Resume button in the tool bar or select the menu item Devices>Resume, to continue the operation.

Show Unchanged Devices

Check this box to display all devices, including those not affected by the new policy.

 

Logging

Number of jobs to show

Shows the number of jobs for which messages are displayed in the Logging pane (lower pane of the Distribution Manager window).

Select the field and type a number to change the default (10).

Number of system log message to show

Shows the total number of logging messages to be displayed in the Logging pane.

Select the field and type a number to change the default (50).

Number of jobs to store

Displays the total number of jobs for which log messages are saved.

Select the field and type the number of jobs for which you wish to save messages.

Number of system log messages to store

Displays the number of general logging messages to be saved.

Select the field and type the number of messages you wish to save.
