About This Guide

This guide provides the following information:


Note Native Service Point also provides online help for the panels.

Audience

This guide is designed for NetView or NetMaster host network management operators who are responsible for configuring and maintaining Cisco routers in an SNA environment.

In addition, information that is required for MVS, VM, or VSE programmers to complete the Native Service Point upload procedures or to understand the purpose of the CLISTs is also provided.

This guide assumes that you are familiar with the basic concepts and terminology used in internetworking, and that you understand your network topology and the protocols you will route. This guide also assumes that you have a working knowledge of basic Cisco router command syntax and that you have access to a mainframe MVS, VM, or VSE programmer who will place the Native Service Point files in the mainframe host.
