Uninstalling ISM V1R3.0

This chapter briefly describes the procedures to remove ISM V1R3.0 from the mainframe. After you have run ISM V2 for long enough to be confident that your site no longer needs ISM V1R3.0, you can remove it from the mainframe.

To uninstall ISM V1R3.0, complete the following steps:

Step 1 Remove the following ISM data sets from the NetView procedure:

•NSPHISTI	•ISMDSH
•NSPHISTC	•ISMDSI
•NSPHISTR	•ISMDSC
•CLISTs	•ISMDSR
•PANELS	•ISMDSD
•LOADLIB	•ISMDSM
•ISMDSA	•ISMDSN

Step 2 Remove the following ISM members of NetView's DSIPARM data set:

•ISMDSA	•ISMDSN
•ISMDSH	•ISMDSC
•ISMDSI	•ISMCMD
•ISMDSR	•ISMDMN
•ISMDSD	•ISMOPF
•ISMDSM	•ISMTBL

Step 3 Remove the ISM DSIOPFU entry from NetView.

Step 4 Remove the ISM DSIDMNU entry from NetView.

Step 5 Remove the ISM DSICMDU entry from NetView.

Step 6 Remove the ISM profiles member ISMPROF4 from NetView's DSIPRF data set.
