Supported Devices Table for CiscoWorks 1105 Hosting Solution Engine, Version 1.7.1

The following table shows the devices supported when CiscoWorks 1105 Hosting Solution Engine 1.7.1 was released.

To see a list of devices discovered by your Hosting Solution Engine, select Administration>Device Manager. The discovered devices will appear in the device management tree.

1 CiscoWorks 1105 Hosting Solution Engine version 1.7 only supports a single card configuration for the Content Switching Module 2.x. Multiple cards are supported for CSM 3.1 only. If the Catalyst 6000 is running both CSM 2.x and IOS-SLB, then neither is supported. If the Catalyst 6000 is running CSM 3.1 and IOS-SLB, the Hosting Solution Engine supports just the CSM 3.1 card configuration and does not support the IOS-SLB.

2CiscoWorks 1105 Hosting Solution Engine version 1.7 only supports a single card configuration for the Content Switching Module 2.x. Multiple cards are supported for CSM 3.1 only. If the Catalyst 6000 is running both CSM 2.x and IOS-SLB, then neither is supported. If the Catalyst 6000 is running CSM 3.1 and IOS-SLB, the Hosting Solution Engine supports just the CSM 3.1 card configuration and does not support the IOS-SLB.

3Content rules are not supported for LocalDirector 4.x. The Hosting Solution Engine will not discover LocalDirector 4.x virtual servers that have content rules associated with them. LocalDirector 4.2.2 is not recommended for use with CiscoWorks 1105 Hosting Solution Engine, version 1.7; LocalDirector 4.2.2 has different MIB than previous versions.
