This appendix provides diagrams of the direct attach cable and its associated pinouts.
The Token Ring workstation and server can be directly attached to the Token Ring ports on the FDDI Uplink option, using a direct attach cable with special pinouts. This cable is shipped with the unit. The following figures show the direct attach cable (see Figure B-1) and its associated pinouts (see Figure B-2).
