Introduction

This release note describes the features, modifications, and caveats of the Workgroup CDDI/FDDI EISA PC Single Attachment Station (SAS) Adapter. Refer to the Workgroup CDDI/FDDI EISA PC Adapter User Guide for detailed information about the Workgroup EISA PC SAS Adapter.

Product Overview

The EISA PC SAS Adapter connects workstation s and servers to CDDI and FDDI networks. Refer to the "Product Overview" section of the Workgroup CDDI/FDDI EISA PC Adapter User Guide for further explanation of product features and functions.

Known Issues and Workarounds

1. The product is shipped without the network driver interface specification (NDIS) driver on the 3.5-inch Workgroup EISA PC Driver disk. To obtain the driver, call Cisco Systems Workgroup Business Unit Technical Support, at 800 553-NETS or 800 553-6387.
