Note The Cisco Connection Documentation, Enterprise Series CD was previously called UniverCD.

Document Objectives

The LS2020 switch supports a command line interface (CLI). Refer to the LightStream 2020 Network Operations Guide for an overview of the CLI, including information about accessing the CLI and using its command-completion and help facilities.

This manual provides detailed information about each of the commands that is available from the CLI, and about some test and control system (TCS) commands. It also provides a description of the management information base (MIB) used to manage LS2020 switches.

Audience

The LightStream 2020 CLI Reference Manual is intended for anyone who operates an LS2020 network. Users of the LS2020 document set are expected to have a general understanding of basic data communications concepts and some practical knowledge of the UNIX operating system.

Document Organization

This manual has seven chapters and one appendix.

Document Conventions

The following conventions distinguish different types of text:

Note Means reader take note. Notes contain helpful suggestions or references to material not covered in the manual.
