This document will help you prepare your site for installing Cisco Systems' LightStream 2020 multiservice ATM switch (LS2020 switch). Use these instructions to
- Select an equipment rack and cables
- Select space for the system in a computer room, wiring closet, or other suitable area
- Ensure that the selected space meets LS2020 environmental and electrical requirements
- Select the Sun workstation and operating environment that will be used as the platform for using the StreamView network management software
- Obtain IP addresses for your LS2020 switches
- Unpack an LS2020 switch
