About This Guide

This section describes the objectives, audience, organization, and conventions of the Cisco ConnectPro software.

The information in this guide supplements the Cisco 750 series and Cisco 760 series Command Reference and the CiscoPro CPA900 Series Command Reference that you received with your order. Refer to the command reference for in-depth information on any feature or function of ConnectPro.

If you are familiar with the standard conventions for navigation and mouse usage in Microsoft Windows Version 3.1, you will be able to use Cisco ConnectPro. If you need to know more about these topics, please see your Microsoft Windows documentation.

Cisco product documentation and additional literature are available on a CD called Cisco Connection Documentation, Enterprise Series. The CD is updated and shipped monthly, so it might be more current than printed documentation. To order the Cisco Connection Documentation, Enterprise Series CD, contact your local sales representative or call Customer Service. The CD is available both as a single CD and as an annual subscription. You can also access Cisco technical documentation on the World Wide Web URLhttp://www.cisco.com.

Note Means reader take note. Notes contain helpful suggestions or references to materials not contained in this manual.
Time Saver This symbol means the described action saves time. You can save time by performing the action described in the paragraph.
Caution This symbol means reader be careful. In this situation, you might do something that could result in equipment damage or loss of data.
Warning This warning symbol means danger. You are in a situation that could cause bodily injury. Before you work on any equipment, be aware of the hazards involved with electrical circuitry and be familiar with standard practices for preventing accidents.
