About This Manual


Purpose

This document will introduce the user to the additional functions added to Resource Manager Essentials (RME) 3.N by the Network Analysis Toolkit 3 (NATkit 3) package, up to and including NATkit version 3.1.

Caveats

This document assumes the user has version 3.3 of the Using Resource Manager Essentials manual and RME 3.3 Installation Guide available as references.

Who Should Use This Document?

This document should be used by anyone who will administer a NATkit 3 system or who is interested in understanding more about NATkit 3. It may also be useful for users with less than administrator access to NATkit 3 with the understanding that not all commands shown here will be available to users with less than "admin" level access. For more information about the levels of access available, refer to version 3.3 of the Using Resource Manager Essentials manual. For instructions on how to install, uninstall, or upgrade NATkit 3, refer to the NATkit 3 Installation Guide.

This document is divided into a single chapter that details the components that make up NATkit 3, and includes instructions on how to use each of them:

Using the Online Help System

RME and NATkit 3 ship with an online help system that provides an overview of each task type and any procedures for them, as well as additional information to many of the tasks and tools discussed in this manual. Use the online help system to get information about using the RME/NATkit 3 interface and navigating within both. You can access the online help in two ways:
