This planning guide provides an overview of the planning and installation considerations for the
Cisco Systems point-to-point broadband fixed wireless system. It also provides guidance for determining the necessary components of the system. This document should be used in conjunction with other Cisco documentation and, where necessary, specific information from manufacturers of wireless accessories not provided by Cisco.
This document is intended for personnel responsible for planning and preparing a site for the installation of a Cisco broadband fixed wireless system.
End users of the system can use this guide to understand the scope of a project and the steps required for site and installation planning. They will also be able to use it during discussion of the aspects of the project with integrators and consultants.
Cisco partner/integrators can use this guide to get an overview of the broadband fixed wireless system and help in the implementation of installation projects.
This document is organized as follows:
Chapter 1 | Overview | Introduces Cisco's broadband fixed wireless system, provides examples of its use, and describes each of the components used in the system. |
Chapter 2 | Site Planning Considerations | Discusses the points that should be taken into consideration by the site planner. |
