You have just purchased a Cisco Content Router 4450 (CR-4450) with one of the following software releases installed:

Functional Overview

Cisco Content Routers are the content routing elements of a larger, Cisco Content Delivery Network (CDN) solution, which includes content switching, content distribution and delivery, content services, and content management, as well as content routing. The CR-4450 is deployed at strategic locations within your network and operates in conjunction with Content Engines to redirect DNS requests to the most suitable Content Engines based on network proximity; presence of requested content; current Content Engine status, including load and availability; and current network conditions, including load.

Content Router 4450 Description

The CR-4450 is configured for AC-input power. The default factory configuration comes with three power supplies installed. The CR-4450 has two internal 18-gigabyte (GB) Ultra2 SCSI system drives. For network connections, the CR-4450 has one four-port 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ethernet/
Fast Ethernet network interface card that supports autodetect speed and full-duplex operation and one onboard 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ethernet/Fast Ethernet port.
