This appendix lists IOS Release 10.3 interfaces that currently are supported on specific router platforms.
IOS features are provided with the software in feature sets. The feature sets you have determines which features you have. Refer to your IOS Release 10.3 router products release notes for the most up-to-date information about supported platforms and features, obsoleted features, and features not supported on specific platforms.
IOS Release 10.3 is supported on the following router platforms:
The Cisco 2509, Cisco 2510, Cisco 2511, and Cisco 2512 platforms, which can be configured as routers or as communication servers, share the same features but differ in the number of available Ethernet, Token Ring, synchronous, and asynchronous interfaces.
The Cisco 7000 series Channel Interface Processor (CIP) supports the IBM channel attach feature. Refer to the chapter "Configuring IBM Channel Attach" in the Router Products Configuration Guide for information about this feature.
Table F-1 summarizes the LAN interfaces supported on each platform.
