The Cisco Hub/Ring Manager for Windows Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) agent supports the Management Information Base (MIB) II standard, as well as several private MIBs to enable network management at different levels. The following MIBs and traps are supported. These files are in the MIBS subdirectory.
MIB Group Descriptions
The following is a list of MIB Group descriptions:
- rfc1213.mib--RFC 1213 MIB.
- rfc1516.mib--RFC 1516 MIB.
- chrm-al.mib--Manages the alerts, or traps, sent by the Cisco Hub/Ring Manager for Windows SNMP agent.
- chrm-bm.mib--Acts as a proxy agent for managing non-SNMP source-routing bridges over Logical Link Control (LLC) protocol.
- chrm-et.mib--Enables Remote Monitoring (RMON)-like management of local and remote Ethernet networks.
- chrm-rm.mib--Enables RMON-like management of local and remote Token Ring networks.
- chrm-sv.mib--Private MIB for Cisco Hub/Ring Manager for Windows.
- chrm-sys.mib--Private MIB for general system variables.
Trap Group Descriptions
The following trap groups support Cisco Hub/Ring Manager for Windows:
- chrm-sv.trp--Private trap for Cisco router/hub management.
- chrm-et.trp--Private trap that enables RMON-like management of local and remote Ethernet networks.
- chrm-rm.trp--Private trap that enables RMON-like management of local and remote Token Ring networks.
- chrm-bm.trp--Private trap for managing source-route bridges over LLC.
