Note   You should perform all the three steps in the order listed below for CiscoWorks SNMS to function properly on your system.

Step 1   Installing CD One.

After installing CD One, you will be prompted to reboot your system. Please do so, and then proceed to install WhatsUp Gold.

Step 2   Installing WhatsUp Gold.

Step 3   Installing Resource Manager Essentials.

Note   If you are installing from a remote shared CD-ROM drive, make sure that you have mapped the drive.

Installing CD One

Step 1   Log in as the local administrator on the system on which you want to install CD One.

Step 2   Insert the CWSNMS 1.0 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.

Step 3   Click Install CD One to continue.

This message appears:
Before continuing with the installation, it is important that you read the Installation Guide. After installing CD One, you will be prompted to reboot the system. You should reboot the system and then run <CD drive letter>:\autorun.exe.

Step 4   Click OK.

The Welcome screen appears.

Step 5   Follow the installation instructions to install CD One on your system.

Step 6   Restart your system after CD One is installed.

Installing WhatsUp Gold

Step 1   Log in as the local administrator on the system on which you installed CD One.

Step 2   Insert the CWSNMS 1.0 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.

Step 3   Click Install WhatsUp Gold to continue.
