Read Me First

You must install the software in this package in the following order on a system that meets specific requirements. You must configure client systems and some applications before use.

The Campus Bundle for AIX contains:

CiscoWorks2000 CD One Second Edition (CD One)—CiscoWorks2000 Server, CiscoView 5.1, and the Network Management Integration Module, which provides support for third party network management systems.
Campus Manager 3.0 (Campus)—Web-enabled version of the CWSI providing topology services, ATM, LANE and VLAN utilities, and traffic management.
Resource Manager Essentials 3.1(Essentials)—Web-based administration tool for collecting the monitoring, fault, and availability information needed to track devices critical to the network.
Traffic Director 5.8 (TD)—RMON-based reporting tool for network traffic analysis.

Note CiscoWorks2000 CD One Second Edition must be installed first.

Minimum Server Requirements

¹Swap space should be double the RAM. If your server has more than the minimum RAM, you must have more than the minimum swap space

Minimum Client Requirements

Table 2 shows the minimum client requirements for a network with 950 devices or fewer.
