Accounting data provides inventory information on both the chassis and module object levels. Inventory windows allow you to quickly determine the details regarding the selected object, as well as details of the system the object is part of.
The Accounting chapter contains the following information:
The Chassis Inventory window displays general inventory information, it is a read-only window (you cannot configure any fields in this window).
To view the Chassis Inventory window, proceed as follows:
Step 1 Right-click (on a relevant object icon in the Map Viewer window or from an object pick list) and choose Cisco Access Router Manager > Accounting > (Chassis >) Inventory. Refer to "EM Windows" for information on which objects allow you to launch the Chassis Inventory window.
The Chassis Inventory window appears displaying the General tab.

Step 2 Select the Chassis for which you want to view inventory data from the Chassis list box at left of the window.
Inventory data for the chassis selected displays. Information in the Chassis Details area displays the following:
Serial Number—Serial number of the selected chassis
Number of Slots—Number of slots within the chassis
Backplane Type—Physical connection type within the chassis
Type—Type of chassis selected
Environmental Monitor Type—Type of environmental monitor located in the chassis
The System Details area displays the following:
Host Name—Host name for the selected chassis
Boot Image Host—IP address of the host, which supplies the software currently running
Description—System's hardware type, software operating system, and networking software of the selected chassis
ROM ID—System boot trap description and version identifier
Domain Name—Domain portion of the domain name of the host
Services—Set of services potentially offered by the selected chassis
The Version Details area displays the following:
IOS—Version of the IOS commands in the selected chassis
Firmware—Version installed on the selected chassis
Software—Version installed on the selected chassis
Hardware—Version of the selected chassis
The PCMCIA Details area displays the card types present in slot 0 and slot 1, typically flash. If either slot is empty, that information displays. The Cisco Access Router Manager currently does not support the PCMCIA Details area.
The Power Supply Details area displays the power supply types present in the chassis. If PS1 or PS2 is not present, that information also displays. The Cisco Access Router Manager currently does not support the Power Supply Details area.
Step 3 Click the Asset Tracking tab.
Asset details for the selected module appear in the tab. The Cisco Access Router Manager currently does not support the Asset Tracking tab.
Assembly Version—Number assigned by the manufacturer that uniquely identifies the selected module
Assembly Number—Manufacturing assembly number, which is the hardware identification
Software ID—Software installed on the selected module
Firmware ID—Revision of firmware installed on the selected module
Common Language Equipment ID—Represents the CLEI code for the selected module
Orderable Part Number—Represents the number used to reorder this component (part number)
Orderable Equipment Manufacturer—Equipment manufacturer of the selected module
Step 4 Review the data on each tab as necessary.
Step 5 Choose File > Close to close the Chassis Inventory window.
Module Inventory
The Module Inventory window displays general inventory information, it is a read-only window (you cannot configure any fields in this window).
To view the Module Inventory window for a selected module, proceed as follows:

Step 2 Select a chassis from the Chassis list box at left of the window, then select a module from the Module list box.
Inventory data for the module selected displays. Information in the Module Details area displays the following:
Serial Number—Serial number of the selected module. This number is zero if data is unavailable
Description—Description of the selected module
Type—Type of the selected module
The System Details area displays the following:
Host Name—Host name of the system which contains the selected module
Boot Image Host—IP address of the host, which supplies the software currently running
Description—Hardware type, software operating system, and networking software of the system that contains the selected module
ROM ID—System boot trap description and version identifier
Domain Name—Domain portion of the domain name for the system which contains the selected module
Services—All the services available on the system
The Version Details area displays the following:
IOS—IOS operating software version being used by the selected module
Hardware—Hardware version of the selected module
Firmware—Firmware version on the selected module
Software—Software version installed in the card; no information appears if data is not available
The Slot and Ports area displays the following:
Slot Number—Slot position the selected module occupies in the chassis
Max Supported Ports—Maximum number of ports supported on the selected module
Sub Slot Number—Subslot position the selected module occupies in the slot
Number of Working Ports—Number of operating ports on the selected module
Step 3 Click the Asset Tracking tab.
Asset details for the selected module appear in the tab. The Asset Tracking tab on the Module Inventory window is not applicable to Cisco Access Router Manager.
