Device Bandwidth Graphs

With the Device Bandwidth Graphs window, you can:

Note: You cannot generate bandwidth graphs for Catalyst 1900 and 2820 switches.

Displaying Bandwidth Used on the Switch

The bandwidth graph provides an estimate of the traffic flowing through the switch. It reports bandwidth usage (in Mbps) dynamically, at intervals specified in the user settings. You can change this setting by selecting Cluster > User Settings.

To display a bandwidth graph for a switch:

  1. Click the device in the Cluster Builder or Cluster View network map to select it.
A red rectangle highlights the selected device.
  2. From the Device menu, select Bandwidth Graph.
The bandwidth graph is displayed in a separate window.

Note: You can also right-click on the device in the Cluster Builder, Cluster View, or Cluster Manager; then choose Bandwidth Graph from the pop-up menu.

Refreshing Device Report Information

To refresh device report information, click Refresh on the bandwidth graph window.

Note: You can change the polling interval (frequency for collecting the data displayed on bandwidth graphs) by selecting Cluster > User Settings in Cluster Builder, Cluster View, or Cluster Manager. For more information, click Help on the User Settings page.
