Cisco ViewRunner for Windows is a Y2K compliant application. However, Cisco ViewRunner for Windows relies on third-party operating systems.

1) If Power Management is enabled on your computer, you may want to disable this feature. It has been verified under Windows 95 that ViewRunner will eventually be prevented from communicating through the Ethernet port when power is enabled. With Power Management disabled, this does not occur.
In Windows 95, select the Power Icon in the Control Panel and uncheck the Allow Windows to Manage power use on this computer option.
2) Use the default Notepad text editor to view all system files (Release Definition File, Feature Compatibility Matrix and Key events log). Do not make any changes to these files. If you alter one of these files in any way, you render ViewRunner for Windows inoperable.
