Removing the EISA PC Adapter Software

This appendix provides instructions for removing the workgroup EISA PC adapter software from your system.

Removing the NetWare Server Driver

To remove the Netware server driver, proceed as follows:


Step 1   Enter the following commands at the server console:

unload crs320T.lan

Step 2   Delete the following lines from the autoexec.ncf file:

load c:\netware\patchman
load c:\netware\lslenh
load c:\netware\msm31x
load c:\netware\fdditsm
load c:\netware\crs320T frame=fddi_802.2
bind ipx to crs320T net=5

Step 3   Delete all other lines containing "crs320T" and all bindings.

Removing the NetWare Client Driver

You can remove this driver from your system at any time as follows:


Step 1   Make sure you are logged out of the Novell server.

Step 2   Enter the following commands in this order:

netx.exe u
ipxodi.com u
crs320T.com u
lsl.com u

Step 3   Remove the following lines from the autoexec.bat file:

LSL.COM
CRS320T.COM
IPXODI.COM
NETX.EXE

Removing the Windows NT Driver

To remove the workgroup CDDI/FDDI adapter driver from the Windows NT operating environment, proceed as follows:


Step 1   Double-click on the Network icon from the Control Panel window.

Step 2   From the Network Settings window, select the Cisco FDDI/CDDI EISA PC Adapter.

Step 3   Click on Remove.

The Cisco FDDI/CDDI EISA adapter driver title will appear in the Description window.

Step 4   Select OK to remove the driver.

Step 5   Quit the Control Panel window.

The driver is removed after the reboot.
