Release Notes for Cisco 1605-R-SP2E Router

This document describes the features of the Cisco 1605-R-SP2E router.

Cisco 1605-R-SP2E Router Features

The Cisco 1605-R-SP2E router offers the same features as the Cisco 1605-R router except for the following:

The Cisco 1605-R-SP2E router does not support WAN connections.
The WAN interface card (WIC) slot is not available on the Cisco 1605-R-SP2E rear panel. Descriptions of the WIC slot in the Cisco 1600 series routers documentation do not apply to this router.
The WIC LEDs (CD/B1 and ACT/B2) on the front panel are not functional. References to these LEDs in the Cisco 1600 series routers documentation do not apply to this router.

Note You can operate the Cisco 1605-R-SP2E router with the same IOS advanced feature set that runs the Cisco 1605-R router. See the IOS documentation for more information.
