The Switch Inventory window shows the host name, device type and serial number, the IP address of the switch, the version of installed software, and the switch location. If any modules are installed, the inventory also displays the module type and its installed slot. The Switch Inventory window is read-only.
To change inventory information on a switch, select System > IP Management or System >SNMP Management from the menu bar and make your changes on the System Options tab.
