CPAN is the Comprehensive Perl Archive Network. Its aim is to contain
all the Perl material you will need. The archive is close to a
gigabyte in size at the time of this writing, and CPAN is mirrored at
more than 100 sites around the world.

The libwww-perl
distribution is a collection of Perl modules and programs that
provide a simple and consistent programming interface (API) to the
World Wide Web. The main focus of the library is to provide classes
and functions that facilitate writing WWW clients; thus,
libwww-perl is said to be a WWW client library.
The library also contains modules that are of more general use, as
well as some useful programs.
