ftp

ftp [options ] [hostname ]

Transfer files to and from remote network site hostname . ftp prompts the user for a command. Type help to see a list of known commands.

Options

-d

Enable debugging.

-g

Disable filename expansion (globbing ).

-i

Turn off interactive prompting.

-n

No auto-login upon initial connection.

-v

Verbose on. Show all responses from remote server.
