Chapter 20. Integrity Management

As we noted in Chapter 3, there are several different aspects of computer security. In most environments, data integrity—the protection of our data from unauthorized alteration or deletion—is the most important of these. Paradoxically, integrity is also the aspect of security that has also been given the lowest priority by practitioners over the years.
