ClassFactor

Multiplier for priority increments All versions

This ClassFactor option specifies a multiplying weight (factor) for a message's precedence when determining a message's priority. This option interacts with the RecipientFactor option (RecipientFactor), and both options are described under that latter option.

The forms of the ClassFactor option are as follows:

O ClassFactor=factor configuration file (V8.7 and later)
-OClassFactor=factor command line (V8.7 and later)
define(`confWORK_CLASS_FACTOR',factor) mc configuration (V8.7 and later)
Ozfactor configuration file (deprecated)
-ozfactor command line (deprecated)

The argument factor is of type numeric. If that argument is missing, the default value is zero. If the entire option is missing, the default value is 1800. The default for the mc technique is to omit this option.

The ClassFactor option is not safe. If specified from the command line, it can cause sendmail to relinquish its special privileges.
