SYNOPSIS
#include <time.h>
#include <rpcsvc/spray.h>
DESCRIPTION
This reference page describes the data structures and
XDR routines used by the
spray(1M)
program.
A
spray()
function call does not exist.
Refer to

Program number:
XDR routines:
xdr_sprayarr(xdrs, arr);
XDR *xdrs;
struct sprayarr *arr;
xdr_spraycumul(xdrs, cumul);
XDR *xdrs;
struct spraycumul *cumul;
Procedures:
- SPRAYPROC_SPRAY
Takes no arguments, returns no value.
Increments a counter in server daemon.
The server does not return this call,
so the caller should have a timeout of 0.
The sprayarr is only used by the caller,
to vary the size of the UDP packets sent.
- SPRAYPROC_GET
Takes no arguments, returns
struct spraycumul
with the values of counter and clock set to
reflect the number of
SPRAYPROC_SPRAY
calls,
and the total time (seconds and microseconds)
elapsed since the last
SPRAYPROC_CLEAR
request.
- SPRAYPROC_CLEAR
Takes no arguments and returns no value.
Zeros out counter and clock in preparation
for calls to
SPRAYPROC_SPRAY.
Versions:
Structures:
struct spraycumul {
unsigned counter;
struct timeval clock;
};
struct sprayarr {
int *data;
int lnth;
};
