To see the localized messages for the core commands and utilities bundled in HPUXMinRuntime and HPUXEssential bundles, the following bundles must be installed on your system. These bundles are automatically installed.

To confirm that the HPUXMsgs-Fre bundle is installed on your system type the following:

/usr/sbin/swlist -l bundle HPUXMsgs-Fre

If HPUXMsgs-Fre is installed on your system, you will see a list similar to:

# Initializing...
# Contacting target "system name"...
# Target: system name:/
