Type the show vlan command on the 1900B switch and verify that
e0/2 is a member of VLAN 3. Type the same command on 1900A and
verify that e0/1 is a member of VLAN 1 and e0/2 is a member of
VLAN 2.
1900B#sh vlan
VLAN Name Status Ports
--------------------------------------
1 default Enabled 1, 3-12, AUI, A, B
2 Sales Enabled
3 Admin Enabled 2
[output cut]

Configure each host with the following IP addresses:
HostA: 172.16.1.5/24 default gateway 172.16.1.1
HostB: 172.16.2.2/24 default gateway 172.16.2.1
HostC: 172.16.3.2/24 default gateway 172.16.3.1
7.
Try pinging from host to host. This should fail. However, you should
be able to ping from HostA to all switches in the network, and all
switches should be able to ping to HostA because they are all in the
same VLAN. To allow hosts in different VLANs to communicate, you
need to configure inter-VLAN routing.
Configuring the 2621 Router
The 2621 router will provide the inter-VLAN routing and allow the hosts to
communicate with each other.
