A stub AS
In this situation, where there are many routes through the network, you
have some choices. You can maintain static routes, use an IGP to determine the network topology and choose the most efficient paths between the AS and the service provider, use eBGP between the customer and the local ser- vice provider, or use any combination of these, as shown in Figure 7.3.
