set ip netmask
This command declares the IP address mask for the
LAN interface.
set ip routing on
This command turns on IP routing for the interface.
User
set user CorpOFF
This command creates the user profile called
CorpOFF. This profile name is used (along with the
password specified by the set ppp host command) for
authentication in the inbound direction. This command
is not used after the profile has been created. Once a
profile is created, the command cd is used to change it.
set bridging off
This device enables bridging to be turned off in the
profile for the BRI port.
set ip 10.33.33.1
The ip address 10.33.33.1 is used for the BRI interface
when this profile is used.
set ip netmask 255.255.255.0
The mask for the IP address is set to 24 bits.
set ip routing on
This command enables ip routing on the interface. This
does not enable the sending of RIP updates; it simply
allows routing to take place over the interface.
set number 5551212
The phone number 5551212 is called when this profile
is used.
set ip route destination 0.0.0.0/0
gateway
This is a default route inside the CorpOFF profile. This
route causes this profile to be used whenever an ip
packet does not have an explicit route to take.
