The debug dialer command provides information regarding the cause of a dial-
ing connection and the status of the connection. Note in the following output that
an IP packet caused the dial to occur. This information can provide assistance for
tuning connections. Administrators frequently do this to limit the use of an ISDN
circuit when charged on distance and per-minute tariffs.
