It is impossible for anyone to keep track of all the developments in network design, especially when including the nuances introduced by different software versions and hardware platforms. Good network designers are usually better off not trying to learn everything. Rather, the best designers know how to locate and obtain the information they require. The ability to research is a powerful skill in the designer’s repertoire.
This appendix includes various references that should assist network designers. Note that not all of these sources were used in researching material for this book.
