Type
show
clock
to see the time and date you have set.

If you are typing commands and receive this:
Router#
clock set 10:30:10
% Incomplete command.
then you know that the command string is not done. Just press the Up
arrow key to receive the last command entered, then continue with the
command by using your question mark.

Also, if you receive this error:
Router#
clock set 10:30:10 28 8
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
you should notice that the ^ marks the point where you have entered
the command incorrectly. This is very helpful.
7.
If you receive this error:
Router#sh te
% Ambiguous command: "sh te"
it means you did not enter all the keywords or values required by this
command. Use the question mark to find the command you need.
Router#sh te?
WORD tech-support terminal
8.
From privileged mode, type show access-list 10. Don't press Enter.
9.
Notice the cursor is at the end of the line. Press Ctrl
+A. This takes you
to the beginning of the line.
10.
Press Ctrl
+E. This should take you back to the end of the line.
11.
Press Ctrl
+A, then press Ctrl+F. This should move you forward one
character.
12.
Press Ctrl
+B, which will move you back one character.
13.
Press Return, then press Ctrl
+P. This will repeat the last command.
14.
Press the Up arrow on your keyboard. This will also repeat the last
command.
