NAME

uwx_release_symbol_cache() — free memory used by the symbol cache

SYNOPSIS

#include <uwx.h> int uwx_release_symbol_cache( struct uwx_env *env, struct uwx_symbol_cache *symbol_cache );

DESCRIPTION

uwx_release_symbol_cache() is part of the Unwind Express Library for Integrity systems; see uwx(3X). uwx_release_symbol_cache() releases all memory used by a symbol cache created by the uwx_find_source_info() or uwx_find_symbol() entry points.

After calling this entry point, the application should take care to assign NULL to the symbol cache pointer prior to using the same pointer in subsequent calls to uwx_find_source_info() or uwx_find_symbol().

Parameters

env

A pointer to an unwind environment object.

symbol_cache

A pointer to the symbol cache.

AUTHOR

The Unwind Express Library was developed by Hewlett-Packard.
